about

Bianchi and Abstract Sounds present the first release of a special vinyl-only series starting with 4 tracks from label head Staniz.

Staniz is the mind behind two of Italy’s most exciting musical projects from the past few years; Bianchi and Abstract Sounds, now starting an exceptional vinyl-only series of music releases.

The first record includes 4 tracks that were previously released digitally. The collection features tracks that represent poignant moments from the past years, as well as music close to the artist’s heart.

‘Salerno’ is a clear homage to Staniz’ hometown; a gift that inspired him to craft his signature minimal and groove-focused approach to club music. ‘Stop’ is another example of his forward-thinking and timeless sound. The track itself was written during the events that surrounded the death of George Floyd and includes sampled speeches from the BLM protests of 2020. The record also contains ‘Venezia’, a city that aesthetically provides a superb variety of inspiriting materials for the look of his projects. Concluding with ‘February’, a choice cut named after a prominent month, personal to the artist, as well as it being the month of the Venetian carnival, which is a relied upon source of iconography used across Bianchi’s covers.

You cannot miss this chance to grab one of the limited and exclusive copies of ASBV001.
